Welcome to RPG Map Editor. By accessing or using the editor, website, or API (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Your account
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Keep your credentials safe, and notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Your content
You own the maps, uploads, text, and other content you create with the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, back up, process, and serve Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, debug, and support the Service.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any content you upload, import, or include in maps you publish or redistribute.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to break the law, harass others, upload content you do not have the right to share, or attempt to disrupt the infrastructure (scraping, brute-force, DoS, malware, etc.).
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans, when available, show their price and billing interval before checkout. Studio is a monthly auto-renewing subscription processed through Stripe until you cancel from Account or Stripe Customer Portal. See our Refund Policy for refund and cancellation details.
5. Commercial use
Studio unlocks product features such as unlimited saved maps and public share links. It does not grant commercial rights to third-party bundled assets unless those rights are explicitly stated in the Credits or a separate written agreement. Do not sell or redistribute maps that depend on assets you are not licensed to use commercially.
6. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Third-party names and trademarks
RPG Map Editor is an independent software tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Wizards of the Coast, Dungeons & Dragons, Roll20, Foundry Gaming, Microsoft, or any other third-party platform. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. References to third-party platforms describe compatible workflows, such as PNG handoff, and do not imply official integration unless explicitly stated.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children. If you are under the age required to consent to online services in your country, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site and via email before they take effect.
