Paint terrain with autotiles. Build on separate layers. Use bundled artwork or import your own tilesets.
Save editable projects on your own disk. Reopen them whenever inspiration strikes, even without a connection.
Export a PNG for Roll20, Foundry VTT or your printer. Keep the editable project for the next session.
One purchase. Three simple steps.
Pay €14.99 once through Stripe. Your Windows or Linux download unlocks straight after payment — no waiting for a licence key by post.
Run the installer, paste the Device ID shown on first launch into your account page, and import the licence file it hands you. One minute, once.
Unplug the internet. Make maps, save them locally, export PNGs. Your editor keeps working — no renewal, no check-in, no expiry.
Not sure which one?

A few useful answers
Yes. €14.99 including applicable tax buys a perpetual license for one active computer. No subscription, renewal or expiry — the licence file on your computer keeps working, and we never phone home to check it.
Tell us before you spend an evening on it: contact support and we’ll refund you. If the software is faulty or doesn’t work as described, your rights are the same as any purchase — see our refund policy. The only thing we can’t do is claw back a licence file from a computer that’s already offline, which is why we ask you to confirm instant delivery before you pay.
Yes. Download the editor and activate once. After that, creating, saving, opening and exporting maps work fully offline. The app never needs a periodic license check.
No. Sign in once to download your installer and licence file, then the app runs on its own. You only come back to this page to re-download an installer or move your licence to a new computer.
Your account unlocks the Windows EXE and Linux AppImage downloads. Install your choice, generate a license for that computer here, and import it in the app. You also get a purchase confirmation you can download or keep for your records.
Sign in here and activate the new computer using the replacement option. Stop using the old installation. You don’t pay again to move your license, and there’s no support ticket needed.
No. New installers appear in your account at no charge, and they only need the internet when you install them. Your existing copy keeps working if you never update.
Export a PNG and upload it to your virtual tabletop, then set the grid scale there. You can also print your maps.
Yes. Projects, imported artwork and exports are files on your own disk. The desktop edition doesn’t upload your maps, because there’s nowhere for it to upload them to.
Personal and table use is straightforward. For resale or commercial products, check the Credits page — the rights for each bundled asset are listed there, and some assets need their own licence.
Not yet — the Offline Edition ships for Windows and Linux. If you’re on a Mac, the Online Edition runs in your browser today, and we publish Mac progress on the What’s New page.
Yes — the same editor and tools, with local files instead of cloud storage. Prefer browser access and cloud sharing? Compare with the Online Edition.
